Background Checks

You must have the following 4 background checks prior to being hired:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal History
- National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR)

Must also have 2 references (non family members)
Must have health report with negative tb test within last 2 years
Must use the state of Pennsylvania's Health and Human Services health form. We can send the form to you by email.
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years experience with kids, and be 18 or older
Must attain additional trainings within 90 days of hire, such as:
- Mandatory Reporter Training- Free 3 hour online course
- Health and Safety Training- Free 10 hour online course
- Fire and First Aid Training (must be a PQAS certified trainer). This is an in person training
Must be dependable (show up to work everyday) and enjoy kids, not merely tolerate them

What we offer:
· Starting pay is $25/hour for Group Coordinator II, III; $22/hour for Group Coordinator I and Student Assistant
· Group Coordinators must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and minimum 2 years (2500 hours) experience with children
· Examples of Human Services Degrees would be Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Specialist, Probation Officer, Nurse, Community Organizer, and many more
· You will also be given an additional $100 a month to help with travel expenses if the work site is more than 20 miles from home or if you are required to travel between work sites.
